What is Hypnobirthing?

Hypnobirthing is a complete birth education and preparation course.

It helps relieve you of any fear or anxiety you may have and help you prepare your

body and mind for the birth of your baby.

You will develop an in-depth understanding of what happens during the birth

of your baby and the options available, empowering you to make the right

decisions for you and your baby.

Hypnobirthing gives you the tools to prepare for every single birth. If your

birth takes a different  path  to the one  you  had  hoped for,  hypnobirthing

will help you feel calm,  in control  and  connected. This will enable you

to feel comfortable and still review your babies birth as a

positive experience.

Hi! I’m Lizzie, mama of three, qualified midwife and founder of Mellow Mamas. I’m here to help guide you to have the best birth experience for you.

I teach hypnobirthing courses in small groups or privately across North Hampshire and West Berkshire, or online courses for those further away.

I am passionate about supporting and empowering women in their pregnancy and birthing journey. Birth doesn’t have to be something you fear and can be an extremely positive experience.

I know what it’s like to feel anxious or apprehensive about about birth, I’ve been there. Following a traumatic birth with my first, leading to a caesarean birth with my second, I knew I needed a new mindset. I discovered hypnobirthing as a midwife and saw how it benefited women in their birthing experience. How it helped them remain relaxed, calm and positive in all birthing outcomes. I used hypnobirthing with my third and felt so calm and in control in what could have been a traumatic experience. I still feel positive when I think about my birth, even though she went straight NICU (she’s absolutely fine now!). I wish I’d discovered hypnobirthing sooner!
